Advanced Court Interpreting Practicum is a practice-focused program designed for students who have completed foundational training and are ready to transition from structured lessons to applied, professional-level interpreting. Building on the skills developed in the Master Class, this practicum introduces realistic courtroom scenarios across criminal, civil, and procedural contexts, helping students understand how interpreting operates in actual legal settings and how professionals adapt to different case types.
Through intensive hands-on practice in sight translation, consecutive interpreting, and simultaneous interpreting, students refine their technique, expand legal knowledge, and build confidence. Instructors provide targeted, exam-oriented feedback to strengthen performance and integrate skills across modes. This practicum serves as an essential bridge between classroom learning and real-world interpreting, preparing students for both state certification exams and professional court-interpreting work.
2026 Exam Sprint Class (Advanced Class)
Court Interpreter Exam Sprint Class is a fast-paced, high-intensity program designed for candidates entering the final phase of exam preparation. This short-term accelerated course focuses on high-yield practice, targeted drills, and exam-style exercises across all three interpreting modes. It is ideal for students who already have foundational training—such as those who completed the Master Class—or candidates with at least two years of translation/interpreting experience who need concentrated refinement before the exam.
Through structured practice and focused feedback, the Sprint Class reinforces accuracy, speed, memory retention, and delivery under pressure. Students work with materials modeled after real exam conditions, allowing them to identify weaknesses quickly and build the stamina necessary for the oral exam. This program serves as a high-impact performance boost, helping candidates move from “almost ready” to fully prepared for the state court interpreter certification exam.
Private Class (One-On-One Training)
Customized Instruction with Flexible Scheduling
The VIP class is designed for students who wish to further develop and refine the core interpreting skills required for the state court oral exam. Through individualized instruction and personalized coaching, the course offers a flexible, student-centered learning experience tailored to each participant’s strengths, needs, and schedule.
Working closely with experienced instructors, students will engage with authentic legal materials, practice exam-style tasks, and receive targeted feedback to support continuous improvement. Refund policy (classes): All online classes and webinars are non-refundable. If you cannot attend your registered course, you'll receive credit to use for another class of equivalent price. However, once you have received the course study materials OR if you give less than 24 hours’ notice, we will be unable to offer any credit for missed classes.
